Hyundai

Have you ever wished for a car infused with your favorite fairy tales? Well, your wish is Hyundai's command. Meet the limited edition Hyundai Ioniq 5 Disney100 Platinum Edition.

Hyundai introduces Ioniq 5 Disney100 Platinum Edition

After debuting as a concept at the New York Auto Show, Hyundai actually decided to make the Disney-themed Ioniq 5. The enchanting vehicle is set to waltz onto screens nationwide during an episode of "Dancing with the Stars." And with its Gravity Gold Matte exterior and wheel design reminiscent of Mickey Mouse, it's like seeing your favorite childhood memories come to life on four wheels. To make sure you know it's not just another electric car, Hyundai adorned the model with “Disney100 Platinum” badges. No magic mirror needed to tell us this car is special.

But, here's where the fairy tale takes a slight detour - thе spellbinding digital grille and those mesmerizing headlights, which impressed on the show floor with "sparkle animations" have vanished. Poof! Instead, and we kid you not, drivers will be greeted with an infotainment startup screen that blends iconic Disney melodies with a Disney100 emblem, accompanied by a sprinkle of "pixie dust." Not quite an equal replacement, is it?

For those still enthralled by the magic, the interior boasts a few Disney-inspired delights. A Mickey Mouse-themed trimming and unique floor as well as Disney100 logos embossed onto the front seats and the center console.

If you're hoping to park this piece of Disney dream in your garage, you might need some fairy godmother-level luck. With only 1,000 units set to be produced, the Ioniq 5 Disney100 Platinum Edition is rarer than a flying carpet. Anticipation builds as it prepares to roll into showrooms early next year.

And just in case you're scratching your head, wondering why did Hyundai suddenly found a love for things Disney you should know the car maker is the exclusive North American automotive sponsor for Disney100, a grand festivity that tips its hat to a century of heartwarming tales and unforgettable characters.
