Leapmotor

Leapmotor is getting ready to release its newest model, the A10. Also known internationally as the B03X, this compact SUV just showed off its interior for the first time. The company plans to launch the car in China very soon, with a European debut following in the second half of 2026. This vehicle is a big step for the brand as it pushes to sell one million EVs this year.

Inside the cabin, the Leapmotor A10 looks clean and simple. The dashboard is straight and features a dual-spoke steering wheel. Drivers get an 8.88-inch digital screen for their gauges, and in the middle of the dash, a large 14.6-inch 2.5K touch screen handles the music and maps. The passenger seat must be adjusted manually to save on costs, but the materials on the dash and doors are soft to the touch.

Technology is the main selling point for this new member of Leapmotor's EV family. It uses a powerful computer chip called the Snapdragon 8295P to keep the screens running smoothly. It even has an AI assistant named Qwen to help the driver. For safety, the car has a LiDAR sensor on the roof, helping the car "see" the road and park itself or drive on highways with minimal help from the driver.

On the outside, the Leapmotor A10 follows a design style the company calls "Tech Natural Aesthetics 2.0." It has a smooth front with no traditional grille, the headlights are shaped like polygons, and the door handles are tucked away. Buyers can choose from six different colors, including unique options like Seaweed Green, Berry Blue, and Morgan Pink.

Size-wise, the A10 is a small but practical SUV. It measures 168.1 inches long, 71.3 inches wide, and 64.4 inches tall. The distance between the front and back wheels, called the wheelbase, is 102.6 inches. Even though it is a compact car, it has a surprisingly large trunk. The back of the driver's seat even has a little folding table with cup holders and hooks for bags.

When it comes to power, the A10 uses an electric motor that delivers 90 kW. Customers can choose between two different battery sizes: the smaller 39.8 kWh battery allows the car to travel 250 miles on a full charge, and the larger 53 kWh battery increases that distance to 314 miles. If the battery gets low, a fast charger can take it from 30% to 80% in just 16 minutes.

Leapmotor expects to price the A10 between RMB 80,000 ($11,600) and RMB 100,000 ($14,500). In China, it will go up against cars like the BYD Yuan UP and the Geely Xingyuan. The success of the A10 is very important for Leapmotor's future. The company is betting that a mix of smart technology and a low price will attract many buyers. But the part we are really excited about is its upcoming debut in Europe later this year.
