Mercedes

Mercedes-Benz has now opened pre-orders for the EQE in Germany and has listed the 350+ rear-wheel-drive model and more powerful EQE 43 4MATIC.

The EQE 350+ starts at €67.651,50 with textile seats, while the EQE 43 4MATIC is €103,827.50 for its base configuration with leather upholstery. Naturally, you can get those figures much higher with the multitude of options Mercedes gives you for either drivetrain.

The EQE 350+ has a 90.6kWh battery on-hand, paired to the 215kW rear-mounted electric motor reaches a WLTP range of up to 660km.

The EQE 43 4MATIC uses the same 90.6kWh battery, but adds a front electric motor to the rear one, and achieves a much higher 350kW of peak power. The range is reduced to 533km, though. The EQE 43 calls exclusive dibs to the larger, curved Hyperscreen, which isn't available on the EQE 350+.

Hopeful buyers can expect the EQE to arrive at dealerships by the end of next month.
