Mercedes

The EQB debuted in September last year, but it took Mercedes all this time to finally announce pricing for the US market with deliveries to begin this summer. Customers will be delighted to know that the prices match estimates and there are no surprises this time.

The entry level EQB 300 4MATIC will start at $55,500 including the mandatory $1,050 destination charge. For that price you are getting a 225 horsepower all-wheel drive three-row SUV with 390Nm of torque and 66.5 kWh battery. On the inside the car will come with a dual 10.25 inch screen digital cockpit with the latest MBUX system.

If you tend to forget your keys then the Keyless-Go package may be the answer for you - it’ll cost you extra $1,250 since it’s part of Exclusive trim. Added bonus will be upgraded stereo and wireless charging for your phone. You can up the game even more by going for $3,800 Pinnacle trim that adds full glass panoramic roof, surround view camera and top of the range Burmester sound system.

225 hp doesn’t sound like a lot of power for a 2,175 kg (4,795 lbS) 7-seater SUV - don’t worry, EQB 350 4MATIC is here to save the day. It comes with 288hp and 521Nm of torque - enough to make a more lively exit from the Costa Coffee drive-through. Mercedes-Benz hasn’t confirmed any battery range for US models but the WLTP range of the European EQB300 is 260 miles.
