This article incorrectly states that the base US Model Y has is RWD and with one motor. It comes with dual motor, AWD.

didn't model Ys already have front and rear casting already ? this article seems to mention it's a new thing

damn, those are some significant improvements. my China made model Y rwd is meant to arrive in 2 weeks lol so I guess I'm out of luck.

this EU built rwd seems very interesting. 15km less range but 5kw less battery, the front gigacast will help too.
I'm very curious to see if acceleration is improved and if the price will drop
