Keep on moving. Don't stop. Innovate on the go. Bring in Sodium ion batteries because the strength is in diversity, not standardization. Historically, industry pushed out steam and electric engines because gasoline promised profits associated with vertical integration. Today, something similar is happening: throw out everything ICE and put everything on lithium batteries. That's a lot of profit driven politics and it isn't going to work because the earth ain't global nor it is a globe. I am with Toyota that is testing two kinds of hydrogen (combustion and electric battery) engines, solid state battery, as well as ammonia engine with zero carbons to spit out. Oh, and that's before I say GEET.
