Isn't that LG tried to sell their smartphone division to VW? I'd do that if I were VW.

Vivo phones sales are banned in Germany due to a patent issue of parent company OPPO with Nokia. Then there is an increasing push to reduce dependency from Chinese technology, and now VW enters a strategic partnership with Vivo. Not sure what to make of it?
