Volvo is not cost competitive anymore ,in the past u would pay a premium for a volvo engine but if the engine is a battery that every other car has why would you pay xtra .

There is an opportunity for ArenaEV to become a leader on the subject of regenerative braking. Not all regens are equal. For example many hybrids are "mild hybrids" with minimal regen. One indicator of superior hybrid regeneration is when the estimated city MPG exceeds the highway MPG. (This reflects efficient energy recovery vs. wind resistance losses). Even regen for pure EV's can suffer symptoms of "mild regen". Sweeping statements about all hybrids including plug-in's (PHEV), ignore some of the outstanding technical implementations relative to the often abusive branding misnomers. Oh yes, I know ArenaEV chooses to describe regen as "recuperation". Thanks.
