yalim, 10 Sep 2024let me kindly share you the ratio of EV batteries recycled right now, "5%" for li-io... moreStop with the fake news. The only reason 5% of batteries are being recycled is because batteries continue to function properly. Meaning they do not need to be recycled. We currently have recycling centers that can recycle 95% of the battery. We do need to create more recycling center for when the batteries do need to be replaced but battery lifetimes have been way underestimated. If you don't want an EV don't buy one but please stop spreading false and misguided information. Unfortunately you are missing out on the biggest advancement in automobile technology since the invention of the auto.

yalim, 08 Sep 2024What happens to the replaced old battery after 8 years? Still e-waste like li-ion?Why do you assume battery needs replacement after 8 years. LFP batteries these days have insane endurance outlasting all other components. There are also battery recycle companies and I expect more of them in the future.

When prospective EV buyers in the US see these breakthroughs coming to market, they won’t buy until it is available to them. That’s why US EV sales have stalled. The cars for sale today will have little value in only a few years. In marketing it is called the Osborne Effect.

Everyone's talking about these fancy solid-state batteries. They're safer, charge faster, and have longer range. Sounds legit!
