Zoox robotaxi is much better design. Baidu, Waimo both have better robotaxi design. Need a 4 seater to compete with market. Model Y with FSD will be a better robocab than this.

it's meh. should've released a single seater 'pod' vehicle.
or just tweak this/slim it down and release it as entry level 2 seater roadster.

This whole event stinks of a scam. Delivery in 2026 or 2027 and cost of $30k. If the Cybertruck is anything to go off it will be at least $90k and be delivered in 2031. They did this demo at a movie studio, kind of like when they did the demo of the solar roof tiles at a TV show set. They lost their fraud case for that one.

I think the biggest issue with robotaxis is the liability. Who pays in the event of a crash? The owner? Tesla? The rider?

30k + 70k or will never release. Elon always trying to keep stocks intact and nothing more.

Anonymous, 11 Oct 20240.2$ per mile is impossible if one accounts for the price and reliability of this stuff.I also wonder how he got that number, unless he is just BSting, which wouldn't be surprising.

After 200,000 miles It would mean $40,000. If I subtract $30,000 from It you are left with $10,000.
That would mean 20 miles per $1, without any maintenance cost included.
Not sure about the cost of electricity in US, when you charge at home, so hard to make any conclusion.
