Driving this heavy car with electric powertrain is the worst decision concerning eonvironmental friendliness. The amount of resources like lithium etc that had to be mined out of the earth by exploited workers and the amount of energy it needed to be manufactured are out of proportion. I wouldn't be surprised if this has a worse carbon-footprint than the regular ICE version. The only reason electric cars are being manufactured is because climate change propganda made people ask for electric cars because media said these cars would be "green". The car industry eanted to switch to electric engines because they are cheaper to manufacture (they don't have those complicated mechanisms like ICEs) and can be sold more expensive because they are "green". Green is a positive color, you know.
If I get a job after my studies and make enough money, I would buy a car with V8 engine (hopefully they will still be available) and make all those woke people cry.

I am going to feel like Optimus Prime in that "last straight male in 2030" meme.

That's a lot less than the millions who were eagerly anticipating the Cybertruck :)

Hopefully this would a different category of RR. Range rovers are not known to be reliable, actually placed last for consecutive years before.
Maybe electric power train could salvage it from that position. Plus majority of the buyers have own house to charge it overnight. Sounds like a good deal.

Mild-PHEV give PHEV a bad reputation. Too many EV and PHEV have little to no regen. The integration of some are excessively modal, that performance varies depending on the mode of operation and state of charge. Taking a brief test-drive will not be representative and requires an extensive take home to understand and experience the many poorly-documented or even undisclosed operating modes.

A simple tell is to notice if the rated city-MPG exceeds the highway-MPG. If the city-MPG is lower, it is likely a mild-PHEV. When the city-MPG is higher, it is a likely a superior full-PHEV.
