I would pre-order a Honda S2000 EV (with 300cm more leg-room for driver and more for passenger, than the Miata ND2). Locate the battery behind the seats to optimize a fantastic rotational moment of inertia. Make mine red.

Japan is stagnant and even producing junk in ice.
nissan with junkco cvt. nissan z is trash.
whatever nonsense they did with their infiniti brand.
honda cheaped out and has massive recalls with their j35 v6 variant.
honda boosting tiny engines to power overweight vehicles.
etc etc

CATL and battery swap tech has already beaten their strategy to conquer market with solid state batteries. They are 2 moves behind Chinese EV tech. Instead of merger announcements they should spend on EV platform and gigacasting with battery swap. Even Xiaomi is ahead of them. They just didn't take EV market seriously. They still don't sound serious enough. They should be having merger with Chinese EV markers. 3 Lame horses running together won't win the race

I think they fall behind when it comes to price and design. tho their quality are already there compare to Chinese EVs. Japan is falling behind in electronics industry idk why they're not investing much in that anymore. Tip: manufacture in south-east asia (and India) and develop software for your whatever electronics.
