Anonymous, 10 Jan 2025A very inaccurate comment.TBH, after spending 1 hour behind the wheels of Tesla Model 3 LR, I came to pretty much the same conclusion - great car, abysmal torture for a driver who wants to do more than turn left or right.
AC controls like defogging or indicating in roundabouts was not an experience I would like to have in my car - not to mention basic stuff like front camera for parking.

It's kinda sad in my case, because I really love the powertrain and efficiency of Teslas, but they are just way too compromised in so many details.

Cost reduction. By introducing a spacer among body panels, this extends the useful life of the body panel stamping tooling and reduces the precision expected to align panels and maintain gap consistency. Smaller, simpler, and/or fewer light-fixture assembles saves cost. Inferior tires is not the best way to save cost. Removing stalk(s) cuts cost. Rear display in hopes of future revenues. Dumping excess battery commitments into storage biz relieves pressure but is an indicator of slowing utilization. With competition and factory utilization pressure, the price will move.
