Perhaps regulatory certainty in Canada reduces business commitment risks. Perhaps reconciliation will rebrand EV tax-credits as part of the tendency to re-write history and re-route huge sums of money through related entities. Perhaps an AI could cut-out management fees.

Perhaps they won't be able to produce very many? It would make sense to start in Canada if production volume is low, because it's a much smaller market than the US.
