Efforts to circumvent this ban should be heavily penalized with not only fines but in particular with jail time for top leadership.

When i first saw those handles, the first thing it came to my mind is that planned obsolence doesn't hide anymore

I hope they will finally ditch these cursed handles. One of the great blunders of the modern era. We've been to space yet can't realize, before production, that these handles are going to cause problems? Not only that, they let it simmer. They're not even that good looking...

Don't forget those electronic trunk, frunk, and/or hood releases. Access to the low-voltage 12VDC battery powering those electronic door releases become trapped behind a system failure. Crawling through to the trunk, unpacking everything, to find a hidden release in the dark, is another evil dump on consumers.

The electronic releases on the interior should be banned at the same time. The mechanical backup releases are impossible to know or find especially in an emergency situation. Very sad avoidable real-life stories.
