So, supposedly this is allowed on the streets, but deemed insufficiently secure for - say - a German Autobahn. How would it be possible to prevent people from driving there?

This is actually exactly what many people need.

How many cars do you see in morning trafic with more than 1 person inside?

Though 4 seats are needed for the occasionally transport of extra people.

It would also be nice if EU would make a car category with tax benefits for sub 3m cars similar to keicars in Japan. SUVs are getting too big.

I would really love Kei cars in Europe, so I can't wait till this one and Honda and many other hit the market over here.
Plus, even the Spring got a decent update ... things are starting to look really nice for the compact EV segment.
