To put it simply, Tesla is built on a house of cards that can collapse at any moment.

It's a meme stock.

Tesla are losing ground under Musk's leadership, and there's no sign of that changing. So why, rationally, would you give him a massive pay boost?

If you believe all his promises about humanoid robots being a big market in a few years time I suggest you look at his history of unfulfilled promises. Just this week NASA re-opened the Artemis contracts because he doesn't seem likely to meet the schedule. He's pushing for a big pay rise now because he's failing on all fronts and won't get the chance again.

[deleted post]tesla is one of the most insanely overvalued stocks of all time, so yeah

if the shareholders don't see the value of getting rid of this clown then they're just part of the circus

"Tesla is worth more than all other automotive companies combined."

Really? Ever than Toyota?
Tesla is not even selling nowadays and still being bested by BYD.

Talking Big, Elon.

I must say your ego is worth trillions it seems interplanetary.

Anonymous, 21 Oct 2025Tesla does not have any good future with Elon either?tesla in usa/eu still has the best charging ecosystem and overall experience by a longshot.
no thirdparty charging stations come close. in eu, they are janky..low quality
maybe better in usa but need to download more apps to charge

Anonymous, 21 Oct 2025Like I said That goes for virtually all workers in all positions Why would he be treated dif... morelook at the bigger picture.
elon is tesla. just like michael jordon is nike.
elon overtime also built a network of business/political connections that only goes through him that tesla itself did not.
if something needs to fasttracked/approved, a call from elon goes a long way.
you know elon as tesla..who runs rivian..who runs ford..tim ford?
there's alot more to this..just tip of the iceberg

That goes for virtually all workers in all positions
Why would he be treated differently? Somebody will take over, it will be a little worse for a bit then it wil stabilize
Just like with any other position anywhere from cleaning lady to flipping burgers in mcd to ceos
You do your job long enough and when you leave the company feels it, takes a long time to teach somebody new
This time its at the higher lvls but same thing

People are making this bigger then it is
Shareholders shoud not do business with a blackmailing terrorist, tear the bandage fast and start healing

Anonymous, 21 Oct 2025Like they say to all workers, you are easily replaceble, good byeproblem is if elon goes..many talented tesla employees will go with him.
internally, there are many many loyal elonists.
his last act will void whatever nda/noncompete clause or whatever legal nonsense.
he can start new company called edisonx or whatever.
so by not paying elon, tesla just created a competitor that will wreck them longterm
