I think it's a big mistake especially if the competition is keeping Google/Apple, let the customer choose their software even if they make it like a one time payment to install it, customers will pay.

Hegemons forcibly compel the use of their technologies to control neocolonies and obtain exorbitant profits in exchange for the degradation of people who will be used to wage new wars of various types.
