Sweden or Finland have 3/4 of unpaved roads. So basically these charging roads are out of question there or limited to public transportation within cities, despite them being very rich countries.

Because what I wrote was not If It will be free(nothing is free btw) but how we will pay for It If It becomes widespread. How will they calculate the amount your car consumed and how to bill you etc.
To me It looks like this can be used for city transportation, where buses will use It at the bus stops or bus depot.
But It doesn't look very viable for trucks or cars, which don't use the same route all the time.
It's nice that they modified 1.5km of highway in France and It worked, but to reduce the battery size in cars you would need to modify a significant part of the road network.
French paved road network is 1,053,215 km long for example, so how much of It would you need to modify, so It has no blindspot? The modified buses in Israel had only 11% of the original battery's size installed.
If you do this for cars that will leave you with ~25-50km range or something like that on the highway.
So that means you will need to have these charging roads every ~20km and be 4km long, at 120km/h that would mean 2min charging, should be enough to keep you going indefinitely probably.
It would mean you need 210,643 km of these road in France alone. How much would that cost? Who would pay It?
Concept interesting, but widespread adoption very questionable, especially in countries which have wast unpaved roads, for example even a rich country like USA has 1/3 of Its roads unpaved, paving It would be ridiculously expensive.
