If this car has a 100L gas tank, there will not be any range anxiety. Chargers are now everywhere in China, 400km range is more than enough.

Why do you keep comparing apples with oranges? 1500km range in an EREV? Wow.... I would rather have 600km in a BEV. Adding a combustion engine has nothing to do with range anxiety whatsoever. Besides I understand people living in remote areas with no charging infrastructure or wanting to drive 1500km without a pause to pee but otherwise (for example in Europe and I mean the whole of it, having traveled around) range anxiety should be renamed to range phobia because it's totally irrational. I myself opted for an iX for the relatively long range but I hardly use the range in long trips. Every 300km I stop for an espresso and a toilet my car is charged before I am ready.
