in the end, he bought from india which in reality just rebranded/repackaged a chinese product.
the hilarous part was that he wasn't even mad about being scammed by india, like its a common thing.

Home countries are not very viable, not enough free workers and the price of products will rise a lot.

And It's not like everything is made in China, this move is supposedly because of tariffs but as It was shown at the beginning of the year not a single country can be sure about this.

Didn't you actually want to say USA is hostile against China because they are threatening their number one position in the world? After all USA started this trade war.
Why would they even be hostile against Netherlands, which is thousands of km to the west? The only reason I could think of would be that they blocked ASML for supplying machines to China, because USA forced them, but then Netherlands did a hostile move against China first and they are retaliating.

BTW even If we had diversified supply chains during Covid the situation would be still pretty much the same, because lockdown were everywhere.

Good. Heavy reliance on a nation that's hostile towards the US and the Netherlands (among others) is a terrible idea. Diversified supply chains are much more resilient, though more difficult to manage logistically. We learned this back in 2020.
