Dacia ? Who in their right mind buys cars that are made out of the Renault parts bin ? Totally unreliable cheap junk.

Anonymous, 30 Nov 2025Like some of you said misleading at best God I love propaganda articles like this, don't... moreIt is a bit of a clickbait and I‘m not gonna read all of that, but I want to tell you that owners of hybrid are more likely to get a BEV as their next car than owners of pure diesel/gas. For many people, once they experienced the full electric driving even if just for the few seconds the hybrid can deliver, the penny drops and they understand why electric is better. And every time the fossil fuel engine in the hybrid shuts off they are reminded of that.

Pipo Lino, 30 Nov 2025I do about 60% of my miles in EV mode on my PHEV. I don't do more because currently I am... moreYeah if the electric range is enough for the majority of trips a PHEV is certainly much better than a diesel/gas or hybrid. Those always have to burn fossil fuels. A PHEV has the option to not burn fossil fuels (at least until the fuel becomes stale and has to be used up after several months). It seems like a good stepping stone, though we all know full BEV is the future, and for many, it is the present already.

In the US, maybe true depending on where you live. In Europe, hell no

Like some of you said misleading at best
God I love propaganda articles like this, don't you?

By your own numbers 70%+ are gasoline/diesel powered but yea, the era is over...

No mention of subsidies, pressures for companys to buy electric (which are the main buyers of cars btw), etc... Nice reporting 👍

Hydrogen based cars look more likely to be the future currently then electric
And with new taxes being made up(like in the UK for example) gas cars dont have to worry

Normal people can't afford electric nor is the infrastructure/technology ready, anybody who doesn't belive me go drive through european countries that are not in the top 10 richest in the world.
Would looove to see how you fair through Bosna, Serbia, Albanija,...some countrys have no normal roads and you expect to charge somewhere?hahaha

US, China...yes, no argue from me there but those are either rich countries or the price is low.
For 10k€ everyone would have an electric car, if nothing else for fun.
Same car for 40k€? Majority don't even earn that in a year/two/three...

Evs are just a new thing companys can sell with high pricing to please the shareholders, nothing else

Etnaphele, 29 Nov 2025Agreed, total bullshit: hybrids, including PHEVs, are ICE cars. “NEV” gaslighting from Chinese... moreI do about 60% of my miles in EV mode on my PHEV. I don't do more because currently I am at a location that doesn't have chargers. If that were the case I'd do almost all my miles in EV mode. If you have a home and charging facilities at work a PHEV is certainly a worthy option.

AES, 29 Nov 2025Pure BEV are still not a reasonable choice, unless you live in a house. Price of car is way hi... moreI live in a townhouse with no garage. NO PROBLEM. I love my Tesla, which my wife hates. Now that Volvos can charge at the Tesla fast charger near us, she wants to dump the Tesla for an electric Volvo. No going back to dirty gasoline cars, forever looking for a full-service gas station or worse, standing in the cold or scorching heat for endless three minutes breathing toxic fumes. Now, in less than 10 seconds, I am back in the cabin of my car, reading a book or working on my computer. I do not even have to pay; it happens automatically.

Cre8revxlr8, 29 Nov 2025Sales of EVs, in Europe are so strong, because Globalists, & WEF Puppets, in Brussels, are... moreSales of EVs in Europe are so strong because GASOLINE is dirty and causes childhood leukemia from the fumes, even before it is combusted to create a toxic brew of emissions spreading disease and death. Filthy gasoline air pollution causes bronchitis, lung cancer, and heart disease to millions.

It is also more expensive than electricity. This is the reason Ethiopia became the first country in the world to go 100% electric, prohibiting the sale of life-killing gasoline cars. Only in America, ruled by the servant boy of fossil fuel interests, is it moving more slowly. But the poor guy is not 100% there and has been a lifelong loser, bankrupting every business he ever tried his hand at. He even lost his shirt in a casino, not gambling but...... by owing one!!! This takes a total idiot to accomplish such a tremendous feat.

However, market forces are too powerful, so even in America, I see more electric cars, albeit at a slower rate than in Europe, the UK, China, and Australia. If you still own fossil fuel stocks, now is the best time to dump them before they become totally worthless.

Sales of EVs, in Europe are so strong, because Globalists, & WEF Puppets, in Brussels, are very happy to, simultaneously, de-industrialise their own nations' car industries, whilst flooding Europe with cheap, unreliable Chinese cr*p. Where did shipping cars, on container ships across the planet, with cars built by a nation, hell-bent, on destroying African Countries' environments & evologies', to asset strip them of minerals and metals, become a virtue-signal of "Green Credentials"? Sorry, must've missed that memo!

Pure BEV are still not a reasonable choice, unless you live in a house. Price of car is way higher then non-BEV and expenses per km on public charger are higher than gasoline. So unless you charge at home during the night, there is no financial advantage whatsoever. Moreover, if you live in a building, you can't install charger on a floor -2 or deeper for safety reasons.

powerhouse, 29 Nov 2025Electrics are also mildhybrids with over 100 g CO2/100 km. Really, misleading.Agreed, total bullshit: hybrids, including PHEVs, are ICE cars. “NEV” gaslighting from Chinese sources is malicious.

EVs are at 16% market share and have a long way to go in order to reach gasoline sales numbers.

It is almost not possible to find new car without any sort of hybridization. It is not that buyers want to buy hybrids, they don't have a choice. PHEV and BEV are different, they are purchased by choice.

Hmmm. Hybrid cars are not electric cars. They have combustion engine also. So this article is misleading.
