What is the point of Smart existing as a brand when all of its characteristics are gone? This is just a car like any other and actually ibsilete since there are ither companies offering better cars in the same car segment.
It's a pain for many automakers; when a model is a sales hit, il generates successors that engrosses at each version. For VW, compare all Golf (Rabbit in the US) generations, same Renault and Clio, Nissan and MIcra, etc... It's a plague but i must admit that for Smart they reach the top!
