Who agre... moreWith longer range the only time you would ever need a charge is when traveling a great distance. Charging at home is much more productive than any public charger. With the average American only driving 40 miles a day, an owner could go a whole before recharging their vehicle.

TBH, I do not really care for much of range boost past something like 600 km we have right now, but I want much lighter and smaller cars to be available.

We have heard about the next breakthrough more than once. Turning one cell as a proof of concept into mass production is really difficult. Granted, if someone can manage to mass produce cells with this new electrolyte then it's China.

Let's see if Chang'An can indeed bring their Sodium battery vehicle to market. That would eliminate Lithium completely.
