@Xiaomi:
premium brands have hand built cars which takes 6-12 months to deliver. they spend millions on R&D of those cars and sell a few thousands of them. so, some of the profit is shifted to aftersales. that is why they are expensive to buy and expensive to maintain. if they have a faulty part, the dealer personally contact the customer. this is not feasible in mass produced cars.

volvo had a similar issue with premium sound systems last year in China. some B&W speakers had aftermarket parts. volvo was sued by the customers and replaced the sound systems with original B&W parts. that was an accessory related supply chain issue. but, xiaomi had a design flaw here, not some accessory. that is more serious cost cutting. it wouldn't be a problem if they haven't promoted that duct as a functional feature in the first place.

Xiaomi isn't cheap, it just offers fair price for a good quality product.
People are afraid to complain about an expensive purchase because it will reflect their bad decision and they can't accept it. Imagine watching rich people complain about their luxury cars having issues. They won't do that because they will be ridiculous and also the luxury brands will pay to shut their mouth.
Every factory has it's own production issues. Xiaomi isn't asking people to keep the mouth shut because they haven't charged you for that.
China is way far ahead of every other country and it's a country based on hard work.
We just can't accept this fact and we want to blame the top worker because it's exposing us.

Every EV is fast, nothing special about that, no engineering skills needed, but that doesnt make it highend. Especially not the xiaomi whos seat broke in a test crash, which is ridiculous.

Xiaomi is cheap because its a bad quality car with serious safety concerns. Chinese EVs in general with their explosions and burning batteries. You re delusional if you think Xiaomi is highend🤡

Ah! Another case of false advertising!
