Anonymous, 29 Mar 2026Only one has FSD, TSLA. That is the real difference.Only if you pay for it, continuously.
Or assuming it is even available in a given country
You compare the ranges but the WLTP of the Tesla M3 LR RWD is 466 miles. As of yet I have not seen any real world mileage for the i3 so, assuming the i3 is WLTP range, the M3 has it beat.
Although the model 3 AWD is a benchmark it's a bit unfair comparison if the BMW equivalent is going to be about £8k more expensive. Surely that 8k has gone into the interior?
The BMW will charge at 400kW for a short few minutes, as you said, but my M3 RWD will charge at 170KW for most of the charging curve. So even if it takes me 35-40 min to charge to continue my drive, I suspect that the BMW will take longer. This is mainly the benefit of Tesla's great Supercharger network.
Also, for a lot of people, the starting price of a Tesla is the best thing. Talking about a 60k+ Euro car is not the same of talking about a 44990 Euro car.
These range values are EPA ratings, not WLTP. Probably another AI slop article
Not sure where you got the Tesla Model3 specs but is just wrong. As per Tesla website the Model 3 Long Range AWD has 660km Reichweite ... price 49.900.
