As the energy density of batteries climbs the weight drops, and whilst ICE vehicles are at the end of their technical development, EV's are all just getting started.
In the next couple of years battery energy density will double and we'll have lightweight EV's that ICE vehicles simply can't match.

does it weigh less than 1800kg? does it have a sports car emotion or is it just another microwave oven that accelerates quickly with a constant whirring sound? horsepower isn't always equal to fun in driving. is whole package more fun than a mazda mx5, toyota gr86 or nissan z?
