1000 kW charging without knowing the rated capacity of the pack tells us nothing. It would be much more helpful to give charging rates in C! Typical packs today offer 2C to 3C with exceptionally fast packs going as high as 5C for a limited time. Cells have limits, usually above those that you get from an assembled pack, while the vehicle's BMS can limit it even more, depending on cooling and components like the main switches or connectors. And don't you think connectors, switches are trivial matter - when it pulls amps like arc welder, getting something to disengage is far from easy.
