In Europe it will be minimum 40,000 and possibly substantially more even for their cheaper model (SU7) (remember you have to add VAT to start + other costs and profit margins for dealers and partners in Europe etc.). Xiaomi's cars are all fairly high end. They don't have budget models. Other Chinese brands like BYD are already in Europe and they offer better price to performance ration and also have different cars for budget, mid and high end segments. I can't see Xiaomi being a top seller as they only will have expensive cars. BYD is a much bigger and more established car brand that has higher cost performance. 40,000-50,000 is still expensive for a car for many European consumers

i am soory to say i was right in my ptrdicyion about automotive industry. Xiaomi wil buy VW plants in Europe (Germany and Spain) thus EU tarrifs will not be applicable. I will add the order of automotive groups deaths: first VW and Stellantis.

Last 15 years great quality products were made in China. My Nokia N8 was manufactured in Nokia Beijing Factory, located in the Capital Xingwang Industrial Park in Beijing with great quality.

Chnese vehicles are not really welcomed outside of Asia due to their questionable provenience: CCCP.
Build quality is as low as Indian vehicles and their technology is just stolen from reputable European and American cars.
Safety is almost non-existant in Chnese vehicles which makes them a danger to their drivers, passengers, and everyone else around them.
Definitely not to be trusted. (applies to their vehicles, their electronics, and everything they produce)
They are just official cheats and scams.

EV production is certainly not greener than classic ICE.
You can argue that they are not using fossil fuels, which is better for the planet, but they are using electricity. If that electricity is produced from fossil fuel then It hardly helps the planet.

Here in Czechia, people will still buy Škoda cars. Even the electric one. Not to mention, a few gas stations who even offer electric cars charging, banned charging Chenese EV cars for security reasons of the car camera. And you cannot park Chinese cars in front of military subjects.

Yeah, overvalued euro and dollar mean they can buy third world commodities at very low price but it also mean they cannot sell their own dollar/euro cost products unless they make those at the same third world countries which result in all the trade deficit.
