Xiaomi has to change its name (like Mi) if they want to step out of China. Xiaomi is officially the 2nd most mispronounced tech brand in the world. Alibaba name came out with that idea and it was brilliant.

Wasn't VW motor group testing something similar in Audi?

I believe it was where the cars would wirelessly communicate with the traffic lights, so that they knew how to assist with regenerative breaking, that would allow them to know when they would be turning red/green.

Of course this would rely on the implementation of smart traffic lights and isn't necessarily for use in self driving.

Hopes it will works better than Tesla autopilot where a german driver send thesla to the courts for a problems he had with their autopilot.
