NIO

The unveiling of NIO ES7 is getting closer and as expected more images of the car keep showing up. The latest batch comes courtesy of Chinese media outlet Yiche, showing the car in its whole glory with instantly recognizable real light strip running across the full width of the car - just like in NIO ET7. Although the photos show the car in red we were assured it was actually orange, most likely the same Luminous Orange the ET7 was launched in back in 2021.

There is no hiding the fact that this is a large vehicle, full size SUV standing tall and wide. It will be the first EV to use NIO’s newest NT2.0 platform and it was supposed to be launched last month but due to Covid outbreak and related delays, the unveiling was postponed to the end of May. The 5-seat SUV aimed at customers of BMW or Audi, it will slot between NIO ES6 and ES8 obviously and it will use the tech already available in NIO ET5 and ET7.
