Android Auto’s Play while parked games are now available for stable app

Google has rolled out games to Android Auto. The feature allows users to play a selection of titles on their car's infotainment screen while the vehicle is fully parked. It was originally reported to be exclusive for Android Auto 14.1 beta users, though it has now been confirmed to work on version 14.0 which is the current stable release.

The Play while parked games selection includes a handful of popular titles such as Angry Birds, Candy Crush Soda Saga, and Beach Buggy Racing.

Users will need to download these games on their Android 15+ phone and will only see the gaming titles when their device is connected to their Android Auto-compatible car and the vehicle is fully parked. The games will appear in the AA app drawer even while the vehicle is moving, but they will be blacked out.
