BYD's upcoming hot hatch called Seal 06GT has been spotted on the streets of China. The vehicle sits between the Dolphin and the Seal in BYD's portfolio and will likely ask anything between RMB 150,000 and 200,000 ($20,000 - $27,000).

The Seal 06GT is expected to hit global markets as well at some point in the future. The provided shots show the 06GT in blue, green, black and orange. The chassis boasts a narrow, aggressive front and back with a continuous LED strip.

The new hot hatch is based on BYD's new e-platform 3.0 Evo and will likely offer one and dual motor powertrains. The rear-wheel drive variant will offer 160 kW and 165 kW output, while the dual-motor configuration will have a total power of 310 kW. Battery packs options are expected to be — 59.52 kWh and 72.96 kWh. Range, according to CLTC, is 505 km, 605 km, and 550 km. The latter is the all-wheel-drive variant.

The Seal 06GT should hit the Chinese streets in Q3 or Q4 this year, while the international rollout will start in 2025.
