Chevrolet

Chevrolet's upcoming entry-level compact all-electric SUV, the Equinox EV, has the potential to heavily influence the North American EV market, with its starting price of around $30,000. And today Chevy has decided to tease it some more, in the form of the video you can see below.

The first iteration will be the Equinox EV RS, available in fall 2023. Then, at some later point, the Equinox EV LT will join it, and this is the $30,000 model we were talking about above.

The Equinox is Chevy's top-selling SUV, so it turning electric is obviously a very important milestone. In the video released today, the company is showing the LT version of the Equinox EV in blue.

Previous image-only teasers showed the LT in silver and the RS in red. It's still unclear what the exact differences between these will be, but it's safe to assume that the LT will have a single motor and a smaller battery (and thus less range).
