Luxury French car maker DS Automobiles is bringing the thrilling look of its Formula E race car right to its showrooms. Starting December 1, 2025, the company is opening orders for a special Limited Edition DS PERFORMANCE Line across three of its most popular models: the DS 3, N°4, and the DS 7.

The limited-edition vehicles stand out with a signature racing style. DS is known for its black and gold colors in Formula E, and this theme jumps right onto the new models. Look for satin gold and gloss black accents on various parts of the car, including the badges, lettering, door mirror covers, and wheel center caps.

The DS 3 gets a satin gold '3' on the rear tailgate, matching its gold wheel centers on the standard 17-inch OSLO alloy wheels. Inside, the theme continues with Alcantara material covering the seats, dashboard, and door panels, creating an exclusive feel.

The compact DS 3 offers both a 100% electric E-TENSE version and a HYBRID 145. The pure electric model costs $50,600 in France, while the hybrid starts at $43,760. For those who prefer leasing, the DS 3 HYBRID starts at $416 per month for a 48-month contract covering 24,900 miles.

The sleek N°4 is the most flexible, available as a 100% electric E-TENSE, a self-charging HYBRID 145, a powerful PLUG-IN HYBRID 225, and a Diesel option. The N°4 E-TENSE model, which has a range of up to 280 miles and a 213-horsepower motor, is priced at $56,450. Finally, the stately DS 7 comes with a Diesel engine in this trim, starting at $61,680, with leasing from $633 per month for 48 months (24,900 miles).

DS Automobiles has always been ahead of the curve with in-car technology, and this limited edition takes things up a notch. The DS IRIS SYSTEM, with its connected navigation, gets an enhanced personal assistant with ChatGPT integration. This means the car's voice recognition can instantly answer complex questions about current topics like sports or international events, making the system a knowledgeable co-pilot. This feature is standard across the DS 3, N°4, and DS 7 ranges already equipped with the voice recognition system.

The DS PERFORMANCE Line trim brings a lot of high-end features as standard, improving both luxury and safety. All models include extensive parking assistance with front and rear sensors, plus a 360-degree camera system. They also feature Blind Spot Monitoring for safer lane changes. The seats are heated up front, and the driver gets a frameless electrochromic interior mirror that automatically reduces glare. In the DS 7, buyers get DS DRIVE ASSIST and a hands-free power tailgate for extra convenience.

To celebrate this launch, the DS 3 limited edition introduces a new color called Cashmere, adding to the existing palette of Ice White, Crystal Pearl, Night Flight, Lazurite Blue, and Perla Nera Black. The N°4 and DS 7 also feature their own exclusive color options. Shoppers in France can expect to see and test drive these limited edition models in all DS STORES starting in January 2026.
