GMC Hummer Announcement

Today GMC announced that "the supertruck revolution continues", referring to its Hummer EV's new 3X trim. This is available for both the Hummer EV Pickup and the Hummer EV SUV, and complements the initially introduced Edition 1 trim.

The Hummer EV Pickup in the 3X trim comes with 1,000 GM-estimated horsepower, 11,500 lb.-ft. of GM-estimated torque, 3 motors (1 front, 2 rear), and an estimated range of 329 miles (529 km) with the Extreme Off-Road Package or 355 miles (571 km) with standard 22" wheels. Towing capacity is 7,500 lbs. (3,401 kg) for the former and 8,500 lbs. (3,855 kg) for the latter.

The Hummer EV SUV in the 3X trim has 830 GM-estimated horsepower from the same tri-motor setup, the same torque as the Pickup, and an EPA-estimated range of 298 miles (479 km) with the Extreme Off-Road Package, or 314 miles (505 km) with standard 22" wheels. Towing capacity for the SUV is 7,500 lbs. (3,401 kg).

The Extreme Off-Road Package includes additional underbody cameras and protection, additional skid plates, and rocker protection with built-in assist steps, as well as 18-inch wheels and 35-inch Mud-Terrain tires.

Unfortunately, reservations for the Hummer EV are currently full, but you can head over to the official website and register your interest via a form and the company will let you know when more reservation spots open up.
