Hyundai

Back in September, Hyundai introduced its Concept Three, which is a preview of the upcoming Ioniq 3, expected to make its debut next year.

The compact-class hatchback will bear an interesting design (if it makes the jump from the concept), but the inside is where it will differ most from the rest of the Ioniq line. The leaked images you can see below show a Tesla-style big central infotainment screen, for example.

Unlike Tesla, however, Hyundai chose to also install another screen in the driver's field of view. The steering wheel design is slightly tweaked too, and has physical multifunction buttons.

The Ioniq 3 will mark the debut of Hyundai's new Pleos Connect software, which is billed as unifying vehicle, cloud, and smart device integration - whatever that means.

The Ioniq 3 will, as the number in its name implies, be positioned below the Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 6. It should be a volume driver for the Korean brand, but of course that depends on its pricing.

Since this is a hatchback, I doubt it will come to US and that would be a shame for sure.

TBH, I am really tempted by Ioniq 6 2026 refresh, but a smaller version with similar / better efficiency / range would be much appreciated.
