Anonymous, 26 Dec 2022Qualcomm doesn't manufacture chips. And what heating issues are you referring to?The chip might overheat in a mobile phone, but in a car there is quite a lot more room to make it properly cooled. Not to mention it can heat up the cabin :-D

These big deals usually go two possible ways - money is priority and results/research be damned, or they are picked because of minute detail that are better than competition.

Well i wonder why they did not chosen Qualcomm to do so.
Since Tesla cars are steam capable so anyone can play games TSMC Chips is all else but not a gaming chipset due to overheating and throttling.
But for any other work is a lot better pick than Samsung.
