Another reason Tesla sales are dropping; Tesla model 3 and Y buyers have enjoyed sizeable profits from buying new cars, selling them to Carvana and others. During the past eight months the profits decreased, now they would loose money on the transaction. The market has returned to a more normal nature. Today's Tesla buyers are generally going to be real consumers. Folks buying because they want to own and use a Tesla. Remember, over 70% of all new Teslas purchased are bought by previous owners.

With all the EV competition coming online along with Tesla's growing production capacity, Tesla must focus on product, customers and prices. Tesla is in a great position to dominate market share but it's going to require real skills from the CEO. Hopefully Musk is up to the task.

Tesla is declining because Elon Musk made a tweet that made fun of people who care about the environment and he made a tweet that basicly said that he does not care about the environment even though he owns Tesla and said in the past he wants to save the environment.
