Fearghast, 09 Jan 2023A yoke can be used everywhere and be really comfortable and less view obtrusive than a wheel -... moreI have been driving since 1995.yoke definitely cannot be used everywhere efficiently or safely except highways.I intentially look at steering wheel when I drive to be sure.using the whole wheel is crucial in tight parking areas,small urban streets,3-5 point turns,roundabouts,etc... you must hold the top part from time to time for a balanced grip since, you have to touch the steering all the time with two hands even when you are releasing the wheel after a turn.

a round wheel does not obscure dashboard unless the dashbord is designed properly.tesla's fault was designing the dash for a yoke and not giving a round option.

yalim, 09 Jan 2023yoke can be good for some race cars which are used only in race tracks. but,we don't live... moreA yoke can be used everywhere and be really comfortable and less view obtrusive than a wheel - making the cabin more compact as a result ... well, not the current Tesla one, but it is not a Yoke fault in general.

yoke can be good for some race cars which are used only in race tracks. but,we don't live in race tracks,right?

Finally!
I mean Yoke is a good solution, but Teslas version is seriously badly implemented, Toyota/Lexus version at least is not a driver / SAFETY nightmare.
I hope they will stick with yoke and will simply fix it.
