Manual steering is like microSD card and headphone jack, outdated, inferior technology, right? Literally none want to manually steer the car if they could afford it, maybe you're too poor to buy one? Lol.

Herein Slovakia even the class 1 roads looks sometimes like car park for warmachines, tanks and other millitary vehicles.

Feel free to welcome to slovakia were they would litterary ram you even on pedestrian walk when green lights says you can go. Here in my country most drivers are completely arrogant and have more bad habits than the worst person you can imagine.
Something tottaly different i experienced when i was 2 years in england.
Was like 100 meters from pedestrian walk and all drivers already stopped to let me pass.
Thats two sides of a same coin.

There's so much hype about driving automation, but no progress or talks about traffic automation. It's impossible to safely put an automated car on a road where other cars aren't automated. Human and computer judgement aren't same. Computer can accurately predict how another computer like itself will behave in a scenario, but it can never accurately predict same for a human. Human have free will, computer doesn't. No amount of AI or machine learning can be trusted for such critical task risking injuries and deaths.
I'll never trust an automated car until every other car in the traffic are also automated. There doesn't seem to be any effort towards that. We only have wealthy businessmen accumulating more and more wealth by taking advantage of ignorant people who think newer technology is inherently better.

This ... moreI am not as optimistic as well, but I consider myself as a fairly decent driver when it comes to safety and driving in speed limits (at least currently, at my age).
BUT I feel for a lot of drivers robust ADAS or something like FSD beta would improve the situation quite a lot ... and that is coming from someone driving in Europe where numbers of problematic drivers are fairly low compared to something like US :-D
I welcome every new ADAS that is configurable when it comes to intervention and works as intended.
