absurd analysis, it takes a fair amount of money to start selling cars in a new market and nobody in europe is going to buy a Xiaomi car at least at the moment. selling them in china where they have some chances while proving their cars are good to eventual interested europeans/americans (this too is probably optional for them, they want to make this whole car business work first) is the best thing they can do.
