When xiaomi announced its interest for EV, the reactions were of disdain and incredulity. 3 years later, it shows to be at the top in techonology and performance as well as building techniques. For EU, the alarm sirens blew when this model broke the record in Nürburgring last year well ahead of Porsche. The location was carefully chpsen in Germany which pretend to build the best cars in the world. Being defeated in their own land by a newcomer is really a KO to their pretentions. The decline of european automakers is evident and pretty soon the european duties on chinese cars will be useless when they will buy factories and european companies.
