This is typical in the electric car industry with most of the smaller Chinese EV brands losing money. Eventually many will go bust and there will be a smaller number of more powerful companies left. Xiaomi has made a great start but it takes time to gain profitability. Here is a source

I hope Xiaomi EVs will reach soon EU with a deal like the one between Stellantis and Leapmotors (cars are partly mounted in Europe to avoid heavy taxes)
