I don't think it's "reimagined" because this HUD concept had been used in games and sci-fi movies before.
Nonetheless, it's a cool feature and should help drivers concentrate more on the road since they would be less distracted by the indicators behind the steering wheel and the entertainment/navigation screen.

this just make driving as fun as playing a Driving Game,
the infotainment is so much, and controllable to on/off.

this not only cooler, safer for the driver.

this also allow Driverless Robotaxi's Passenger feel safer, know what is ahead, where is the auto-pilot heading to.
