BYD's next generation LFP battery with some 30% more energy density is set to be implemented before the end of 2025 (in China at least).

I'd wait for that new BYD LFP battery tech. It has several advantages over the current generation LFP, including faster charging, more charge cycles, less temperature sensitivity, and energy density approaching that of Lithium to name a few.

Anonymous, 02 Jul 2025almost triple price in europe, no thanks.You are comparing the basic Seagull Vitality model with 305 km CLTC range.
vs Dolphin Surf “Boost” with 507 WLTP range and highest configuration.
That's ~2x longer range If you recalculate both of them to either CLTC or WLTP.
Tech and features won't be the same either.
But yeah, I can agree that 25,000 euro is a lot for a small car, especially when Dacia is cheaper.
