But where Yandex and 2GIS are present they aren't just better than Google Maps, Apple Maps, Here or Garmin, they are on entirely different level - highly detailed and precise roads with all speed limits, cameras and all other restrictions, and even more - down to all road marking. Nothing western comes even close.

They also support trackable public transport and excellent public transport routing, where Google sucks everywhere and worldwide.

It's just some parts of the world never seen really good mapping solutions, like Yandex Maps, 2GIS, Naver Map, Daum Kakao Map, ZENRIN. Google Maps actually used to be pretty good in some regions, like Japan and Russia, when they were using third party suppliers until mid 2010's. But then they started making own maps and it turned to be disaster.

There is OpenStreetMap, which has readable third party styles. But still missing a lot of functionality, like street public transport, arterial public transport, detailed roads. It also made by people, so there are a lot of editors that making random non-realistic edits for statistics. So it isn't good for routing. Also missing a lot as well.

Google Maps is some worst mapping service. Maps ages outdated, totally wrong, no public transport, poorly readable etc. Only street view and satellite imagery are good.
