Google Android

The latest beta release of Android Auto shows that Google is working on making navigating to EV chargers easier. EV station filters will show up directly in Google Maps on Android Auto, and you'll be able to have it only show "Slow charge (up to 49kW)" or "Quick charge (50kW or higher)" stations.

There's also a customization menu, where you'll get even more granular control for your search results, being able to pick multiple options from "up to 9kW", "10 to 49kW", "50 to 149kW", "150 to 349kW", and "350kW and faster".

There will be a new EV charging payment filter as well, letting you choose which stations you get in the list based on what payment methods they accept. The specific list of payment methods you'll be able to filter by will of course be different in each country.

The screenshots above are from India, so only Blink Network is showing, but you will get other options in other places.

Interestingly, once you set these filters they will be remembered on subsequent uses. It's unclear when these features will come out of beta, but hopefully soon.
