The comparison to the CTLC range is not. Saying that X EV can drive 400 km at -20 is correct. Saying or implying it loses 47% of it's range is not.

You can argue that a test during summer or ~20°C would be way more useful, but this test is not useless.

It would be interesting to know, what percentage of the theoretical CTLC range these cars reach in the summer. That should be the comparison base. 53% of a lab range that cars don't reach anyway is no useful information
