The article is misleading. It suggests the entire range of the e7 will use the second-generation blade battery. But, only the top two versions will use the newest batteries. For the one with the newest battery buyers will need to spend 15% more. The 2nd gen battery has 57.5 kwh in the e7. The promised 5 minutes charging time from 10-70 translates to around 400kw charging power. The chargers available today can deliver that already.
